We’ve always had a very flexible Reservation Calendar and now it’s even better!

There’s a new icon in the top right when you’re in the Reservation Calendar and clicking on this opens a new configuration window.

With this you can customise the settings for your property (all PCs & laptops for all users) or customise just for this specific PC/laptop and user, meaning you can adjust the view according to the PC or laptop you’re using and to your specific preferences.

Some of the features are:

• Removing the "clutter" you may not want to see by removing unwanted rows.
• Squeezing more rooms on the screen by reducing or removing the mini calendar, removing daily stats, rate plan, AM/PM rows, and reducing height of each room row to fit more rooms on your monitor.
• Moving the navigation box to the top instead of being on the left.  This is important if you start to reduce the size of the mini calendar.
• Adjusting the width of the blue buttons along the top – Room Rates, Guests, New, Edit etc.
• Changing colours for today & weekends
• Changing how the rooms are labelled in the left column.

Clicking Select as System Settings Default will save the changes for all users for all devices unless they have custom settings.

Clicking OK saves the settings for your login name on this PC/laptop only.

The limit for regular bulk updates to channel managers has increased from 365 to 730 days.  This setting is found in the Scheduler option.

Note:

• Your channel manager may not be able to support this limit and may ignore any data beyond their limit.
• This is for bulk synchronisation only - individual changes in the reservation calendar are always synchronised to the channel manager regardless of the days in the future.

When SiteMinder sends a rate plan code to Aurelian, this can now be linked to a Package in Aurelian.  

This enables automatic posting of transactions based on the SiteMinder rate plan.

EG: a booker selects Breakfast Included rate plan, this can now be used by Aurelian to create the accommodation charges and breakfast transaction each day of the guests stay..
